The World of the Goulongs

some development into the environment and world the goulongs live in! These were kinda fast, but I'd love to build on them to show the established areas. I think now would be a good time also to explain some lore about goulongs!!

A VERY BRIEF SUMMARY OF GOULONG LORE

according to legend, goulongs are the decendants of the Great Dragon god, and are their children for whom shall inherit the timeless land they live in. While goulongs are an ancient race, they were not the first to occupy their beautiful world. The goulongs believe that before they were ever created, the land belonged to what are now known as the gods. The gods were thought to have once been mortal, but ascended to godhood upon death. While they are now gone from the mortal plane, the gods left behind many structures to remind the goulongs of their divine origin.

Goulongs are an intelligent species, with a complex and diverse culture with deeply rooted traditions stemming from their spiritual background. Almost all goulongs are spiritual, and have a great love for nature. They worship many gods, some more so then others, however the worship of gods is very personal to goulongs, with each pack or individual having unique beliefs and values.
They have great respect for the land they live in, residing in the temples, shrines and homes left behind by their creators. It is considered a great crime to deface any relic. Many goulongs take it upon themselves to care for these shrines and temples, hoping to preserve their heritage for millennia to come.

Goulongs are my babies!! They are of course heavily inspired by my Chinese/Taiwanese heritage of which i'm always eager to learn more about.
